Sustainability Management School (SUMAS) is a unique, private business university located in Gland, Switzerland. SUMAS offers innovative business programs integrated with state of the art sustainability knowledge and combines high level academic education with projects in partnership with global companies. SUMAS' aim is to educate socially responsible global decision makers of the future who will make a real difference in the world. - Use of rainwater for toilets and irrigation
- Heat recuperation from refrigerators to produce hot water
- 1 million CHF solar parc from Romande Energie Renouvelable that also provides energy back to the Swiss electricity grid
- Energy efficient lighting
- Local and recycled building materials
- Geothermal heating and a decentralized carbon dioxide controlled air supply system
